Harrison's Boat Planters are all Handmade in Marshside, Southport, UK with Fiberglass by local fisherman Philip Harrison.
Each boat planter take approximately 7 hours to make and can be ordered in a variety of different colours including: Blue, Red, Orange, Green, Pink, Multi Coloured and RNLI Lifeboat colours as well however if a different Colour is required please speak to Phil.
We will Deliver and fit your Boat planter for free in and around the SOUTHPORT AREA, Please speak to Phil to see if your eligible for free fitting, if not we can post your boat to you via a courier. If we are not fitting the boat planter we will add Screw and rawl plugs to help when your fitting it to your wall.
You may also see Philip and his sales team out and about at events including Southport Flower Show, Southport food and drink festival, Lythams crafts fair, Southport Crafts fair and Haydock craft fair.
About fisherman Philip Harrison
Pictured above is Fisherman Philip Harrison after a day of Shrimping. Phil has lived in Southport all his life, He has over 40 years experience of fishing and shrimping in and around Southport with many different vehicle. Phil decided to bring the nautical theme back to Southport and the surrounding areas by Hand-making fiberglass boat planters to go on a wall or to be used as a hanging basket as a display with flowers. Unlike Wood or Plastic, Fiberglass is more durable so will withstand the different weather conditions we face here in the UK. Philip says "To make the Boat Planters is the exact same as I would do if I was to make a real size boat with all the same materials only on a smaller scale". Philip is proud to be making the boat planters all by hand and in the UK (Southport to be exact ).
Pictured above is Scott Harrison. Scott is responsible for this site and the Photo's and Videos alike. Scott has run his Youtube channel since 2011 and Harrison's boat planter interviews and clips can be found on the Media Page. Scott works in the commercial shipping sector. In his spare time Scott enjoy's rod and line fishing, Boating, Kayaking and Paddleboarding. Scott says "As you can read from my blog above my life revolves around the sea, also having an intrest in IT, Photography and videography, all this goes hand in hand when assisting my uncle Phil with Media and public relations for the website".
